It’s April and Spring has finally sprung!!!! We have had some beautiful days lately and we are looking to start our walks around the block pretty soon. We will keep you informed as we plan our walk days.

This month, we welcome Charles Townsend to our classroom and CMS! Charles has a big sister Blair in toddlers. We also welcomed a new staff member Sherry to our classroom. Sherry has an associate’s degree in childhood development and comes to us with 30 years of experience in child care. She has been a valuable addition to our classroom.

It looks like in the infant room we are soon going to have a maelstrom of little walkers!!! Our friends Oliver, Darcy and Caroline are standing by themselves and are ready to take steps. We are keeping the cameras ready. It can happen any day!!. Brody, who is practicing on standing, is planning to join them pretty soon. While our older friends Oliver and Darcy are doing a great job eating at the table, Maxwell is trying his hand at table food .The infant room has taken in stride our new friend Kinsley, who has settled in very well and has started crawling. Little London is rolling over.

We would like to thank all the parents for their help and support for Trivia Night, and we appreciated the donations made to our basket. A special thanks goes to Anne Chegwidden for getting everything together. Speaking of donations, we are looking for a rocking chair and a digital camera for our classroom; gently used ones are welcome.
