This month has been a very busy one! We have had lots of friends on vacation and friends coming back from vacation. Our newest friend's name is Ruby and she is adapting very well with friends and friends are helping her out with the routine around the room.

We went on our first BIG field trip this month and had a blast at Flat Branch sprinkler park! Friends would not stop talking about the bus ride there and back. I think that was the highlight of their trip! They did great with listening to teachers' words and had fun running in and out of the water!

I want to thank all the parents for coming and helping out. I also want to thank Stephanie Flagg and Julie Townsend for the great tents! They helped a lot with it being so sunny and warm out. Once again thank you! Stephanie Flagg also helped us out by bringing a cooler with water for us and it also helped to keep our lunch cool!

We are looking at getting another field trip together sometime this fall since we did such a great job on this last one! If anyone has any great ideas, let us know and we will look into it. We have a few that we are looking at right now but we are always open for suggestions.

If you haven't noticed yet, Melaina had her baby and is at home resting right now with little Maxwell and will be back soon. Sara is filling in for Melaina and has been doing great with learning the room and kids. She knew many of them (and many families) from her time in the Toddler room. Sara is working the 7:45- 3:45 and Katie is working the 9- ratio spot (and be on the lookout for a special guest from P2!). If you have any questions just let us know and we will be happy to help you out.
