It’s October already?! Last month we lost our closer Alyssa. She found she needed more time for school and we wish her all the best—she was a valued member of our classroom. We gained Rachel in her place. Rachel fell in quickly and has become a fantastic part of the Toddler Room. We’re so glad she’s with us!
October is a very exciting month for us. The toddlers love fall leaves, pumpkins and Halloween, which is a very big and busy day for the friends. We will have a costume parade with Preprimary around 3:15 and a party in the classroom after—there will be a sign up sheet a week or so before. We wish Halloween could be on a Friday every year!

Thinking forward…we’re getting closer to cold weather and we would welcome any donations to our extra clothes of socks, gloves, or mittens for the friends to wear on the playground this winter. On that note, thank you to everyone who donated cell phones, purses and wallets to our practical life area! We will never have to fight over cell phones again! Our toddler parents have been wonderful and I want everyone to know! For signing in and out everyday, for all your participation (pictures of yourselves at work, etc.), for all your donations to our classroom, we say…
