First a great big thank you to everyone who helped out and supported CMS with the Trivia Night and Silent Auction event. Your support was greatly appreciated. Thank You!

We will begin parent-teacher conferences towards the end of April. Sara and I will be putting together some times and dates for those, and we will have a sign-up sheet up on our clipboard soon. If times listed, for whatever reason, do not work for you, let us know, and we will arrange something that suits you better.

We have had some big changes in Toddlers recently. Amanda Boyer has moved up to Pre-Primary to be the new Lead Teacher. We are sad to see her go, but excited that she isn’t too far away! We have gained a great teacher to take her place: Sara Schultz. The friends have bonded well with Sara, and she has fit right in, which helped make the transition run smoothly.

We have quite a few friends who will be turning two in the next few months. We have two birthdays in April: Hadley (4/23) and Harlow (4/24).

We will start our Friday morning walks in April. We will also be walking to the Columbia Public Library twice a month to choose books for our classroom library. As the weather starts to warm up and the sun is out more we will start applying sunscreen. We are unable to use spray sunscreen, per licensing requirements, but lotion sunscreens are great. For the spring and summer months Toddlers will need lotion sunscreen and a summer hat.

A friendly reminder: Parent hours come due in May, so if you have any to complete, our wish list is a great place to go and CMS is hosting the final Parent Work Day of the school year on May 7. If you would like to work off your parent hours, but the date doesn’t suit you, please let us know and we can work out a different day.
